2nd pick: #6 (True Visionary) (2-1) - Speedy grey gelding stretches back out after finishing a pace-setting foruth here facing tougher going 6.5-furlongs Jan 24. He was competitive in his previous pair at this distance and both came against better. Can be in this from start-to-finish.
3rd pick: #7 (Double Nickel) (8-1) - Since coming here from Canterbury Park and off a two month break in late October, he's gone 6-1-3-2. All have come facing much weaker conditioned opposition. Stalker is in career best shape and is capable of impacting at a big price.
4th pick: #5 (Texas Buccaneer) (5-1) - Veteran has finished within range in his last pair after returning from a 2 1/2 month layoff Dec 20. He's slipped with advancing age, but fits with his best. At this point, based on his latest 'figures' a minor award is his ceiling.
