She still rallied strongly in the stretch and was only beaten just over a length. She had been sharp in five straight prior to that and can take this with an alert beginning.
2nd pick: #4 (Up Your Plan) (2-1) - Old timer has won eight times in 60 starts and has finished second in 21 of those. Nine-year-old has raced herself back into shape since returning from a five month layoff in December. Speed/stalker finished second here at this level March 7 and leading rider Scott Stevens stays aboard.
3rd pick: #5 (Faith Under Fire) (4-1) - Mare is racing first off a Jon Nance claim and is cutting back in distance. Capable of getting a share, but both the top two selections would have to be sub par for her to have any chance of winning this.
