However, following her return from a seven week break in early January her form has gone sour. Badly beaten in her last pair facing tougher on the dirt, she makes her local debut. Filly has a new trainer (Val Brinkerhoff) and is dropping down to the local bottom for maidens ($5,000).
2nd pick: #3 (Hotsouthernbreeze) (4-1) - Speed/stalker finished second here in back-to-back starts during January, but has slipped a bit in her last pair. Four-year-old can factor at a square price with her best.
3rd pick: #1 (Seeking Tudor) (2-1) - The morning line favorite, Mare has been competitive in five straight here racing at this $5,000 claiming price. Speed/stalker missed by a 'head' at this distance March 1 and is an obvious win candidate.
4th pick: #7 (Shezgettin'erdone) (30-1) - Longshot has been racing evenly and catches a field where several will be backing up during the stretch run. She may be able to land a minor award at a big price.
