Top pick: #6 (ALEX DA SCHNAIL) (6-5) - The probable heavy favorite, she's finished second in two straight here facing tougher. Filly is back in form after returning from a nine month layoff in late Nov. and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #7 (Anna G) (8-1) - Longshot is lightly raced and from an underrated barn (Manny Ortiz). She raced both wide and evenly here last out and was far back of "Alex." However, it was her first since January and she probably needed the race. Look for her to be competitive at a square price.
3rd pick: #1 (Top Lady Margie) (3-1) - She chased and weakened last out when checking in third, two lengths back of "Alex." Nice effort and this filly may grab another small slice.
4th pick: #3 (Pontoon) (6-1) - She went evenly while finishing fourth in the same last race as the top three selections. It was her first since debuting here last January and she should improve a bit in her second back from the long absence.
