Top pick: #3 (CONCHACER) - Loves this surface and is working fast for his first start since an easy win here facing weaker on Dec. 18. Has a flexible style, is in a great barn (Dale Bennett), and leading rider Centeno is back aboard.
2nd pick: #10 (See I A) - In tremendous shape at this time he's looking for his 6th in a row and last out won a stakes on this surface. Races for the leading trainer here (Jamie Ness), draws a great post, and I almost put him on top.
3rd pick: #6 (Capt. Candyman Can) - He's undefeated at this distance (4-for-4), but hasn't run since Nov. 7, 2009. Has talent and plenty of class, but will be over-bet and holds no real edge over the top two picks. Obvious factor if ready.
