Four-year-old returned here with a sharp maiden win going 7 furlongs racing for $32K on Feb. 2 and has a pair of very fast works since then, including a bullet half-mile on Feb. 12. Stalker draws outside of the speed and can make it two in a row with a patient ride.
2nd pick: #1 (Frex) - Price play raced evenly here at this level and distance on Feb. 13 and was only beaten just under three lengths. Race was his first since Aug. 21 and he can factor today at a nice price.
3rd pick: #4 (Roman Hall) - Logical contender showed fine speed last out at this condition and price and was only beaten a neck in his second start back off a 10 month absence. He should be a major factor if he repeats that effort.
