2nd pick: #6 (Big Box ) - Thistledown invader finished second there in early Nov facing tougher and that effort is competitive with the reminder of this field if she can repeat it off the 2 1/2 month break. She only has one published work since her last race, but probably has been prepared off site.
3rd pick: #3 (Saravatina) - Well bet and competitive when she debuting last June at Calder this filly races today for a new trainer and has been working well at a off track facility to prepare her for today's attempt. Her sire "Sarava" was better going longer distances. She can factor today if ready off the long break.
