2nd pick: #1 (Nikki's Choice) - Has fine early speed and the inside post to use it from. Filly has a new trainer (Manny Criollo 15% with new stock) and he brings this filly back in seven days after she tired at Gulfstream going a one-turn mile on the Dec. 16. Daughter of "Forestry" should be in this from start to finish.
3rd pick: #10 (Scarlet Ball) - She tired after chasing at Calder on a sloppy track five weeks ago, but in her previous effort she finished a distant second at Monmouth. Has some speed and is a contender.
