Last out he finished 4th while facing multiple winners for the first time, an effort that was better than looked. Breaking from post 10, he made a four-wide middle move to loom a threat outside rivals with a furlong to go before finishing evenly. He was beaten a length by next-out winner Deputy Halo. Today he drops back into conditioned claiming company to face non-winners twice in the last 6 months. He will be reunited with Jesse Garcia who was aboard for his big win two starts back.
