Top pick: #5 (ALMOST SUMMER) - Racing back into shape following a layoff and a switch from Louisiana to New Mexico this gelding finished a pace-setting/pressing second here at thia price and distance two weeks ago. In a good barn and it looks like graduation day.
2nd pick: #10 (Sea Monster) - Not far off of the top pick last out and he had some problems at the start. Lightly raced, in with a good trainer, and he makes back-to-back starts for the first time. Dangerous rival.
3rd pick: #8 (Turn the Tap) - He exits the same race as the top two picks and he took a big step forwad that day. His trainer is having an outstanding meet (33-10-2-3) and this gelding is a factor at a nice price.
