(# 6) HORSE THIEF - Pretty weak group on view here. This gelding has raced well in last two at Finger Lakes, including a narrow loss to repeater on July 21. Trainer Baker can win anywhere, and this horse looks very well meant in here.

(# 5) Poker God - Trainer Sacco has regrouped with this son of Mutakddim after four tries in the spring. Well-backed in his first pair, he may yet show that that confidence had some basis.

(# 7) Our Wonder Cat - Gelding is sent back to the dirt by Linda Rice after five-consecutive tries on the grass. Mid-pack type hasn't shown a lot of kick, but this weak group may change that.

(# 1) Fordi's Prince - Has a hint of speed, and will probably be sent hard to try and steal this. It's a difficult assignment, but if he clears he may stay on well.
