(# 7) CHAGALL - Pletcher runner makes belated three-year-old debut after showing ample promise at two. She went straight into a trio of stakes after breaking her maiden at first asking at Churchill. She stumbled from the rail in the Adirondack here in only appearance last season. She's been training very well at Churchill, draws a good slot and faces a field with more questions than answers.

(# 4) A.P. Dream - Hard to discount anything from the Mott barn at this stage here. Beautifully bred filly cuts back after a steady diet of longer races where she has raced competitively. She raced well in her only sprint, which came last year over this track when two. Good work for this.

(# 2) Russian Gypsy - Been freshened by Dollase after a pair of very sharp starts to begin her career at Churchill in late spring. Working swiftly for the return, and she is a serious wire-to-wire threat.

(# 7) Upscale Storm - Now trained by Gary Contessa, she was formerly in the barn of Richard Viollette. Another who ran well earlier this year, she has been freshened up since late Feb. Works are good, and they're mostly on the grass, though the last is a sharp dirt work.
