(# 2) CHASING THE CROWN - Repeat of last would make him awfully tough to beat in here. Had a poor post, was up on the lead the whole race while wide, and stayed on well to just miss. Has been given a month off since that race, and he has a good interim work down at Belmont for this. Moves from the 10 post to the No. 2 slot.

(# 10) Admiral Byrd - Big effort in the same race as the top selection. Also had a wide draw (9), and he raced mid-pack, rallied strong to just get beat. He is the horse that the top pick must fear.

(# 8) Moon Ala Mode - Excellent win in the second start for the Mike Hushion. Has shown some talent in the past and top trainer may have him headed the right way. Good work since the race.

(#''s 1 and 4) Drinkwater and Good Going Darl - Would use this pair in small exacta boxes with the top two, or in the underneath position in tris and supers.
