(# 6) I'LL MAKE IT UP - Freshened up a bit after his first pair by trainer Schettino, he adds blinkers today off the seven week vacation. Should be ready for a presumed theft attempt in a paceless race on paper. Nice drill on the turf over the training track here on August 1st.

(# 9) A Rose Like Us - Good effort at 7F on the Belmont lawn last time out. That race came after several troubled trips, and proved that gelding can run a bit if given the chance.

(# 3) Typhoon Tycoon - Ran well here opening week despite a poor start in a mile grass race. Comes back at the same level and distance, and his two turf races are by far his best. Clean break puts him on the wire with these.

(# 's 1 and 5) Bachelornumberone and Tobruk - This pair has had many chances, but both have run well on the grass here before. Would use on the bottom of exotics, but not on top.
