Both were moved 'off the turf'and he'll be on the grass in this spot. In his only previous effort on the turf, he missed by less than a length in a swiftly run sprint when debuting March 18 at Tampa Bay Downs.
2nd pick: #1 (Blind Ambition) (3-1) - Speed/stalker from the Pletcher barn moves back to the grass after tiring badly in a seven furlong G3 stakes at Gulfstream Park July 1. He had won two in a row there prior to that and was an easy winner going 7.5 furlongs in his grass debut May 28.
3rd pick: #2 (Mongo Nation) (7-2) - Fast from the gate, he ships from Monmouth where he tired to finish a distant third there in an 'off the turf' sprint July 7. Competitive in four of six on the grass prior to that and he must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #6 (Indy Hill) (12-1) - He raced evenly here in a grass sprint July 22 facing a pretty tough group of older runners. He had won his first two grass sprints in Kentucky and is back in with fellow 3-year-old in this spot.
