2nd pick: #1 (Special Relativity) (12-1) - This filly ships in from Kentucky where she finished second facing a bit tougher going 6.5 furlongs on a sloppy surface June 8 at Churchill Downs. Stretch runner is two-for-two at Saratoga, has a very fast half-mile breeze on the local training track July 5, and she has a ground saving post. A late threat.
3rd pick: #2 (Carrera Cat) (5-1) - Another New York bred, she's won four in a row in gate-to-wire fashion. Latest came June 13 at Belmont when she easily defeated 'open' first-level allowance foes and this 4yo worked fast on July 6. Her early speed makes her dangerous.
4th pick: #6 (Talk Veuve to Me) (6-5) - The morning line and probable heavy favorite, she's the class of the field. A G3 winner a year ago, she tired to finish a distant fourth in the local G1 Alabama Stakes last August. Unraced since tiring in Churchill's Humana Distaff (G1) May 4, she's an obvious threat at a short price, but filly seems more comfortable going a mile or longer.
