He broke his maiden at this trip May 12 at Belmont and earned a very high figure. That number went up next out when he missed by a length at this level June 23. Speed/stalker gets top billing.
2nd pick: #4 (Chateau) (4-1) - Veteran moves up in class after missing by a 'neck' facing weaker at this distance June 1 at Monmouth Park. He won back-to-back starts early this year at Aqueduct and earned huge figures in each. From the always dangerous barn of Jayson Servis, he must be left in the mix.
3rd pick: #9 (Overdeliver) (5-2) - A promising sort from the Pletcher barn, he's shortening up in distance after finishing a pace-chasing third going a mile June 27 at Belmont Park. He's been very sharp in both attempts at this shorter trip and he should receive a fast and/or contested pace to rally into.
4th pick: #6 (Morning Breeze) (6-1) - Consistent sort has been competitive in four straight at this level and races today with blinkers on. This 4yo has stalking ability and he draws outside of what should be a quick pace scenario. He's not out of it at a square price.
