2nd pick: #2 (Policy Option) (2-1) - This $240K son of 'Empire Maker' did not break cleanly when finishing a distant second debuting here at this level and distance Aug. 3. In the barn of Chad Brown 29% second time out, he's worked twice for this attempt and is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Shamrocket) (12-1) - This colt raced extremely wide when 3.5 lengths in back of 'Policy Option' debuting here Aug. 3. Trainer Chris Clement is having a very good meet 63-13-10-9 (21%) and his maidens normally run better 2nd time out.
4th pick: #4 (No Word) (4-1) - A debuting home bred, he's from the barn of Todd Pletcher 23% first out and has been in steady training here since July 22. This is a tough distance to navigate in an initial attempt, but the trainer's reputation must be respected.
