Speed/stalker is one of two entered by Jay Servis and the pair race uncoupled. 7yo has gone 16-5-5-1 on the dirt and this is his favorite distance.
2nd pick: #5 (Mr Dougie Fresh) (7-2) - The second of the Servis trained runners, he's dropping in class following a good third place finish here facing tougher July 19. Another with an outstanding record on the dirt 21-5-5-1, he completes a strong hand from the barn.
3rd pick: #3 (American Power) (6-1) - No-speed type ships up from Philly Park where he's won two in a row facing weaker going 7 furlongs. Very consistent sort won here last year in his only previous local appearances and strong finisher should be closing fast.
4th pick: #1 (Ruler of the Nile) (10-1) - He's won five of 10 starts and scored here at 7 furlongs July 13. That was his third win in a row before tiring late here in a $100K stakes Aug. 9. He has the tricky rail and he'll either need to be sent hard or try and rate off of 'Ray's Warrior'.
