Top pick: #4 (WHICH MARKET) - Lightly-raced colt has shown both talent and promise in his four starts and comes off a fast-closing fourth-place finish here in an entry-level allowance on July 23rd. Effort was his first since Dec. 15th at Gulfstream when he ran second in his first facing winners. Trainer Kiaran McLaughlin wins at a 32% clip second off of long breaks and this colt should appreciate today's longer distance.

2nd pick: #1 (Animal Spirits) - Trainer Al Stall Jr. had a winner each of the past two days and is having a strong meet at this competitive session. This son of "Arch" has been competitive in all his starts and finished close-up last Nov in the Breeder's Cup Juvenile Turf(G1). He finished third here on August 6th in his first race in two months and is a win threat in his second off the brief freshening.

3rd pick: #7 (Kanagaro) - He has an excellent turf record (9-1-3-4) and most of past races have had some very talented runners. One run type just missed here on July 29th and this consistent gelding by "Indian Charlie" is a threat again this afternoon.

4th pick: #10 (Arc Above) - His lack of speed and outside post make his task difficult, but not impossibe. He ran well here July 29th when he had some traffic issues and closed to miss by a length, and was only a 1/2 back on "Kanagaroo". He would benefit if the pace were fast/and or contested.
