Top pick: #6 (FIZZANO) - Gelding by "Pleasant Tap" has improved dramatically since moving to the turf in his second start. Three-year-old was a wire-to-wire winner when breaking his maiden at Belmont June 8 in his first on the grass, then ran second here at this level and distance July 22 in his first facing winners. Working fast for this and he's the horse to beat.

2nd pick: #1 (Seattle Mission) - Gelding hasn't won since taking his debut here on August 16, 2009. That said, he's (8-0-5-2) since then and just failed to get up here August 5 at this distance. Has the inside post and can save all the ground before launching a rally.

3rd pick: #10 (Deciphering Dreams) - Son of "Freud" hasn't raced since early December, but is working well and is in the dangerous barn of Rick Dutrow. Colt broke his maiden on this surface a year ago and then finished a solid third facing "open" company in the G3 Pilgrim S. Stretch threat.
