All of those starts came in dirt sprints going a bit shorter and this one-run type has Irad Ortiz Jr aboard for this attempt.
2nd pick: #8 (Quick Entry) (4-1) - A lightly raced colt who was bred by the recently deceased Marylou Whitney, he was ever involved here after stumbling badly in an first-level allowance July 13. It was his first start in two months and he's worked twice since. He's in a claimer for the first time, draws well, and think he'll be competitive with a better beginning.
3rd pick: #5 (Brush Country) (5-1) - He finished second here going 7 furlongs for a $16,000 price tag July 21. It was his first start on the NYRA circuit and he's moving back up in value in his first off a Tom Morley claim. He fits well with this group and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #9 (Bustin to be Loved) (15-1) - He's one of a pair of New York breds entered and has blinkers on in his second back following a five month layoff. Colt ran both wide and evenly at this level here July 14 and enters off a bullet half-mile breeze in :47 flat July 29.
