Top pick: #7 (RULE) - Gets some big class relief today after competeting in eight straight Graded stakes dating back to the fall of 2009. Stalker has run well in all but one of those and that came racing on a sloppy track at Charles Town April 16. In the Pletcher barn and colt is the horse to beat with a "clean" trip.

2nd pick: #1 (Equestrio) - Lightly raced and well-bred, this 4-year-old has good positional speed, draws the rail, and has a bullet work here on the training track July 28. Son of "Elusive Quality" raced evenly in the G1 "Foster" at Churchill Downs June 18 and is working steadily and way above average for his return. Think he'll run well at a big price.

3rd pick: #3 (Modern Cowboy) - Also trained by Pletcher and the two colts will race as separate interests. Four-year-old by "Tiznow" was beaten a head by today's rival No. 2 "Glenwood Canyon" and has a bit more positional speed then that rival. Working fast locally and a threat with his best.

4th pick: #2 (Glenwood Canyon) - Consistent stretch runner rallied to win at Churchill June 17 and defeated No. 3 "Modern Cowboy" by a head in that contest. Six-year-old is 10-3-5-1 dating back to April of 2010 and finished second in a pair of starts on this surface last year, both at this 9 furlong distance.
