Outrun for the lead, she was pinned on the lead before being taken back and then rallying while 4-wide. She's worked twice since, moves off the rail, and has leading rider Jose Ortiz aboard for the first time.
2nd pick: #4 (Indian Pride) (2-1) - A home bred daughter of 'Proud Citizen', she debuts for trainer Chad Brown, 20% (47 of 239) since Jan. 1 of 2018. Four of her six published drills are on the very quick side and Brown has Javier Castellano aboard.
3rd pick: #6 (Quasar) (6-1) - Daughter of Derby winner 'Orb' has been competitive in all four main track sprints since returning from a six month layoff in early April. She finished third here July and was 1.5 lengths behind 'Rapido Gatto' that afternoon. It's noted that she has Irad Ortiz Jr aboard for the first time.
