Top pick: #5 (NATIVE SINGER) (5-2) - Gelding will be cutting back in distance after finishing second at this level going a mile at Belmont on July 4th. He was much improved over his debut that day and has since worked fast on this surface.
2nd pick: #4 (Escape to the Moon) (5-1) - Home-bred by "Malibu Moon" has some sharp works showing as he makes his first public appearance. Capable barn (Bruce Brown) has had him in steady training since late April and colt looks set first out.
3rd pick: #1 (Thnktomyuncle) (3-1) - He has a strong late kick and has finished second in 7 of his 10 starts. Has the ground saving rail and he would benefit the most if a fast/and or contested pace were to develop.
4th pick: #2 (One More Chief) (7-2) - Nice debut at Belmont on July 14th saw him set a quick and pressure pace and hold gamely to finish 3rd of 8, only a 1/2 length back of "Thanxtomyuncle." He's worked twice here since and Saratoga is his home base.
