Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (SOONER SCHOONER) (4-1) - NOTE: This race has been taken 'off the turf' and will be run at 1 and 1/8th miles on the main track. This filly raced evenly here going a mile on the grass for a $50K tag Aug. 7. It was her first race since Aoril 25, and she's back in 11 days, drops down, switches to the dirt, and has a great post. I give her a slight edge.
2nd pick: #5 (Take Charge Tina) (5-2) - She's finished 2nd in two straight, one each on dirt and turf since coming off a six-month layoff in June and joining the barn of Rob Atras. A win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Needs No Ice) (10-1) - Even paced filly has done most all of her best racing on 'off' tracks. She's 5-1-2-1 on it and is capable of factoring at a square price with her normal effort.
