2nd pick: #2 (One Eyed Jack) (5-2) - The second of the Brown trained pair, this $675,000 son of 'Uncle Mo' finished a wide and even 3rd when debuting in a Belmont sprint June 29. Training fast locally, Brown (29% second time out) stretches him out in distance (33%). An obvious win candidate, completing a strong hand from the barn.
3rd pick: #5 (Liberty's Pursuit) (6-1) - This colt by 'Curlin' sold for $850,000 as a yearling back in Sept. of 2017. He's been on the sidelines since late November when he finished 3rd of 10, beaten four lengths going nine furlongs at this level in an 'off the turf' contest at Churchill Downs. He has a solid series of works on view and may get a slice of this if ready.
4th pick: #6 (Fireball Shot) (5-1) - This 5yo is making his 19th start, but he's finished 2nd in eight of 18 racing on the dirt. Even paced type was a bit more that two lengths behind 'Majority Rules' last out and is capable of getting a minor award int his spot.
