(# 4) FRIENDLY TYPE - Were going to take a stand against the obvious chalk in this maiden turf race. Our hero has faced the starting gate only once, that coming in the mud with a wide slot at Golden Gate Fields in late January. Was bet rather heavily that day and ran on well despite floundering in the worst part of the race track. Winner won off by herself and this filly missed second by about two lengths. Mulhall has regrouped with her and she has some pretty swift works cross-town on the polytrack. Might upset the chalk.

(# 3) Stop the Humor - Logical heavy favorite has finished second in three consecutive races, two of which have come over this tricky downhill course. She appears to hold most of the aces here, but maybe she just lacks the killer instinct.

(# 7) Diva's Seastar - Showed quite a bit of improvement in her three year old debut. Could have been the physical maturing between seasons, or the switch to grass. Probably was a little of both. Could factor in Exotics.

(# 1 and 2) Juliya Space and Kimmy'sklassylady - $1,500,000 daughter of Storm Cat makes initial outing for Mr. Frankel who is a patient man and works indicate maybe distance racing will be her forte. That said, this is not a strong group for straight maidens. Frankel and Flores a phenomenal 42% over the past two seasons. Kimmy'sklassylady has run better than the remaining group of starters.
