Her overall record on conventional dirt stands at 10-6-1-2 and this one time speedball has learned how to stalk and pounce. Working fast, she should have no problem with this 9-furlong trip.
2nd pick: #3 (Penwith) (2-1) - Mare has really stepped it up since coming off almost a year's layoff Jan 21. She's won both return starts at Gulfstream, including the Royal Delta Stakes (G2) Feb 13. Dangerous if she brings her current form to the west coast.
3rd pick: #1 (Livin the Life) (8-1) - Longshot tries hard every time out, but she's never won on real dirt. Irish bred has been competitive in her last pair (both stakes) on it and this long winded 6-year-old will have no problem with this nine-furlong distance. Price play can grab a share at a big price.
4th pick: #2 (Tara's Tango) (2-1) - Grey filly is consistent and has improved overall of late. She's racing with blinkers on and that should have her involved in the early pace picture.
