Top pick: #3 (CASINO HOST) - Talented son of "Dynaformer" has always had talent and like many by that sire he's improved with age and at longer distances. Last out he rallied to win the G2 Eddie Read Hdcp. at Del Mar and is the choice in a competitive contest.
2nd pick: #7 (Fire With Fire) - Lightly raced, talented, and still improving. Grey gelding was just over a length in back of "Casino" last out and he may have moved a bit prematurely. 4yo has finished 2nd in both local starts and wasn't beaten much in either.
3rd pick: #6 (Turbo Compressor) - The main speeed, he's a bit of an "all or nothing" type and his early speed should play well on this course, which is generally kind to front-runners.
4th pick: #9 (Bourbon Bay) - Hard-hitter hasn't raced since last spring when he won back-to-back G2 stakes on this course. Working fine and he's in the mix if ready with his best off a 5 1/2 month layoff.
