Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (TEQUILA BLANCO) (7-2) - On the sidelines since Sept. 20, he tired while wide that day racing on the Los Al dirt. Clearly a much better horse on the grass, he has a good shot at breaking his maiden if ready.
2nd pick: #6 (Lil Sydney) (5-1) - Lightly raced colt rallied to finish fourth here at this tag and trip Feb. 7. Only his second start, he's training steadily and is a threat at a square price.
3rd pick: #5 (River God) (10-1) - Longshot was competitive when debuting on the Gulfstream grass facing tougher last August. Both follow up starts have been on the dirt and he;s dangerous at a big price in his return to the turf.
4th pick: #3 (Mind Trick) (6-1) - NEW gelding drops in class, switches from dirt to turf, and is stretching out in distance. Unraced since his debut Aug. 31 at Del Mar, he showed some ability that afternoon and must be left in the mix.
