2nd pick: #6 (Desert Law) (9-5) - The morning line favorite, he's racing second back following 10.5 months on the sidelines. He pressed a quick pace before weakening to finish 4th here facing 'open' optional-$62,000 claimers in his return May 11. Stalker has been working fast since and is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Fire When Ready) (15-1) - Longshot moves way up in class after defeating weaker here at this distance May 31. It was his second back after almost seven months of inactivity and he draws a good post. I think he's capable of getting a share at a big price.
4th pick: #4 (Smiling Angelo) (7-2) - Lightly raced 4yo is working fast locally for his first since Aug. 25 at Del Mar He's won two of three sprinting on the dirt and was an easy winner debuting here April 29 of 2018. You know he can fire fresh and is a major player if ready.
