Top pick: #2 (THEGIRLINTHATSONG) (5-2) - One run type enters off a career best when she won the G2 'La Canada" stakes here at this distance Jan. 17th. She's worked three times since, draws a nice post, and there's lots of speed signed on to help her style out.
2nd pick: #6 (Warren's Veneda) (3-1) - Hard hitting mare comes from a bit farther back than 'Thegirlinthatsong,' but should get the same favorable pace set up. Warren home bred has been razor sharp in her last pair and was an easy winner here at this distance in a $100K stakes on Jan. 11th.
3rd pick: #7 (Sweet Marini) (5-1) - One of two entered by trainer Bob Baffert, she's stretching out after finishing a solid second here in the G2 'Santa Monica' going 7-furlongs Jan. 19th. Stalker is in career best shape and must be left in the win mix.
4th pick: #8 (Awesome Baby) (6-1) - The second of the Baffert pair, speedy filly is working very fast for her first since Dec. 28th. If she gets an easy early lead, this daughter of 'Awesome Again' has proven tough to get by after that.
