Premium Pick

Top pick: #6 (ROB'S PAL) (3-1) - He's been razor sharp in his last pair here at this level and has a bit more speed than his main foe. Gelding just missed last to a drop down runner and he should have no problem with the added furlong he travels this afternoon.

2nd pick: #9 (Misdeed) (5-1) - Strong finisher exits the same April 27th race as "Rob" and was only a nose back of that rival while rallying up the rail. He's raced himself back into shape following a 10 month layoff and is a win candidate in this spot.

3rd pick: #1 (Indian Gods) (8-1) - Away for the past 13 months, when last in action, this speedy son of "Indian Charlie" had finished second in three straight here at that time with two of those coming at this level and distance on this course. Has the rail, is working well for his return, and must be left in the mix.

4th pick: #7 (Public Interest) (6-1) - Lightly-raced gelding has absolutely no early speed and was away from the gate slowly in his last pair. Freshened up since late January, he's been competitive in three of his last four, is working nicely, and the extra furlong he travels is in his favor.
