Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (LATER MY LOVE) (7-2) - Larry William's home bred is working very fast here for her first race since Aug. 28th. She won her debut here as a heavy favorite June 12, then was 2nd and 3rd in a pair of stakes at Del Mar. Can take this if ready.
2nd pick: #3 (Star of Munster) (6-1) - She likes a good fight and has won four of eight starts facing a bit weaker. Speed/stalker is two for five here and is a 'nose' short of having three wins in a row. In shape and dangerous at a square price.
3rd pick: #2 (Skye Diamonds) (9-2) - She's been competitive in three of four on the dirt, and in her only sub-par start she was away slowly last out. Bejarano stays aboard and filly can factor with an alert beginning.
4th pick: #11 (Dragon Flower) (6-1) - Very consistent and fast from the gate, she's gone 7-2-3-1 to date, all on real dirt. She's racing second back from a two-month layoff and can be a big factor if able to avoid a wide trip.
5th pick: #6 (Run Like the Boss) (12-1) - Lightly raced, she's moving from turf to dirt, shortening up in distance, and races with blinkers on. Can factor at a big price in a wide open contest.
