2nd pick: #6 (Ultra Sharp) (3-1) - Recent maiden winner was very easily at this distance Jan. 31st. A career best, it came second off a bit more than a seven-month layoff. He's worked fast since, and this now 4yo still has plenty of room for up-side. A strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Dynamite Ride) (5-1) - He has a bit of 'hang' in him and has 11 minor awards to go along with his one victory. He likes this distance on the dirt (6-1-3-1), and he's been sharp in all five local appearances. Stalker can factor at a square price.
4th pick: #8 (Pioneer of the West) (8-1) - Longshot had some promise earlier in his career, but had to go in for a long layoff 9.5 months in early April of last year. He's making his third start since returning and improved noticeably in his latest. A very quick five-furlong work Feb. 21st indicates that he's coming around to his best.
