Top pick: #4 (HIDETHEGOODSTUFF) (8-5) - She's finished second in both starts and in her latest gave futile chase to a filly who broke on top and went gate-to-wire to win by 4 1/2 lengths on a wet/fast surface. This field is a bit weak for the level and it looks like graduation day.
2nd pick: #2 (Girl On the Lam) (4-1) - She showed good early speed in a well-bet debut last June at Hollywood and tired to finish 4th of 10, beaten just under 10 lengths. Trainer Kristin Mulhall has her working both frequently and above average and 3-year-old is dangerous if ready.
3rd pick: #7 (Northern Flight) (6-1) - Mare will try her luck on conventional dirt for the first time after a series of even efforts on both turf and "poly." Trainer Mike Puype has her working fast for her first since Dec. 9.
4th pick: #8 (The Grans) (10-1) - Mare hasn't run since last April, but does have some talent and is working sharply for trainer Valorie Lund at her home-base of Turf Paradise. Can impact at a nice price.
