He broke his maiden when debuting in early July, then chased and tired in a Group 3 stakes at the Curragh in late August. Colt ended his season with a near miss in a stakes at Dundalk (the only "poly" surface in Ireland). He raced evenly here in the Pasadena Stakes March 23rd, his first start in 4 1/2 months and has worked three times since. The choice in a small but well-matched field.
2nd pick: #3 (Tiz Point) - He showed nothing last out racing in the San Felipe (G3) on the dirt, but has been sharp in all three previous grass starts. Speedy sort may get away with an easy lead and could take this crew from start to finish.
