2nd pick: #7 (Highlight Show) (6-1) - One of a half-dozen making their debuts, $140K purchase is working fast for trainer Jim Cassidy. He should get away at a big price and can factor if he runs to his a.m. drills.
3rd pick: #3 (Close to Midnight) (12-1) - Longshot races as a NEW gelding. Well backed in his first pair, he had wide trips in each. Last out he was never really involved while finishing far behind 'California Clone.' Two of his last three works were on the quick side, and think he can make an impact at a big price.
4th pick: #10 (Sunday Nap) (4-1) - Well bet in his debut Sept. 18th at Del Mar, he set a pressured pace before weakening to finish 3rd in a small field (six). A fast local work Oct. 5th makes him a threat.
5th pick: #8 (Six Point Rack) (8-1) - Another longshot, he raced evenly following a poor break when debuting at Del Mar Aug. 13th. He moves off the rail and can get a slice at a big price.
