2nd pick: #5 (Whirling) (5-2) - She's taking a big drop and is switching from grass to dirt while shortening up in distance. She's two-for-four on the main track here, drops to a new low, and her connections are adding blinkers. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Gia Lula) (6-1) - She broke her maiden here going 6 furlongs for a $12,500 tag March 1. It was her 15th attempt and she followed that up April 5 by tiring badly in her first facing winners. She shortens up a bit, has the rail, and is capable of getting a share at a square price.
