A home-bred by 'Tiznow,' he's been working fast, is bred for turf success, and he has Mike Smith aboard.
2nd pick: #8 (Mo Reserve) (8-1) - A son of 'Uncle Mo,' he tired last out going seven furlongs on a sloppy surface Feb. 2. Much sharper in his previous start, he's another that's on the infield for the first time.
3rd pick: #9 (Ocean Fury) (6-1) - This colt rallied to finish 4th last summer in both starts at a mile on the turf. Unraced since July 28, he has some sharp works on view, and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #12 (Play Money) (5-1) - Home-bred showed good speed before tiring to finish 4th when debuting here in a dirt sprint Feb. 16. Training fast, he's by a great grass sire, 'Unusual Heat,' and should factor at a square price.
5th pick: #1 (Lil Sydney) (20-1) - Longshot moves up in class after finishing a close-up 4th here at this trip for a $50K tag Feb. 7. He has the rail, grass experience, and is capable of impacting at long odds.
