Son of 'Drby' winner 'Orb' sold for $1,250,000 as a 2-year-old in training back in March of 2017. Working very fast for his first start, they include four straight bullet local breezes. Looks all set.
2nd pick: #11 (Julius) (9-2) - The second of the Baffert trained maidens, this colt by 'Tapit' sold for $600,000 as a yearling back in Sep of 2016. Working very fast locally, he drilled a bullet 5 furlongs in :59.60 April 26. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #10 (Beneficent) (5-2) - One of four who have raced, $700,000 4-year-old gelding by 'Uncle Mo' finished a pace-setting second when debuting here at this level and distance March 25. Contender, but is beatable at a short price.
4th pick: #9 (Flagstaff) (8-1) - $4750,000 gelding by 'Speightstown in nearing 4.5 years of age and is making his first start. He has some nice works but obviously must have some issues.
