Filly ran poorly when she caught a sloppy surface when debuting last July at Del Mar. She was sharp in three of four following that and ran second here at this level Sept. 26. Working fast for her return, she meets a largely untested group. Looks set.
2nd pick: #4 (Leveler) (5-2) - One of two entered by trainer Phil D'Amato, she chased and held down the place spot at odds of 35-1 when debuting here at this level going six furlongs May 5. She's worked above average three times since and is an obvious threat.
3rd pick: #1 (Sweetwater Gal) (6-1) - One of four making their debts, daughter of 'Sky Mesa' has an impressive work tab dating back to late February. She has the rail and can impact at a square price with an alert beginning.
4th pick: #6 (Complimentary) (8-1) - The second of the D'Amato fillies, she finished a strong second when debuting March 29 at Turf Paradise. Lasix is added and it's noted that the horse that defeated her won again next out.
