2nd pick: #2 (Kindred) (6-1) - $250,000 filly by 'Candy Ride' has been on the sidelines since a troubled debut Sept. 4 at Del Mar. She broke slowly, fought her rider, and ran wide the whole trip. Look for a much better effort in this spot.
3rd pick: #7 (My Midnight Affair) (20-1) - Filly raced within range before tiring badly when debuting July 30 at Del Mar. $100K daughter of 'Midnight Lute' has a fine series of local works on view including a near bullet 5 furlongs May 15. May grab a share at a big price if ready.
4th pick: #8 (Hot Autumn) (3-1) - The morning line favorite, she pressed a quick pace before weakening to check in a distant second here at this level going 6 furlongs May 5. She draws a nice outside post at this trip and is an obvious contender but is a bit vulnerable at a short price.
