Speed/stalker is racing second off a seven-week freshening and he brings him back on a quick turnaround. The outside post will give Raf Bejarano some early options.
2nd pick: #7 (Syndicated) (4-1) - Once much classier type, has slid down the claiming ladder of late. Stretch runner is racing first off a Craig Lewis claim and should get a fast pace to rally into.
3rd pick: #1 (Xerxes) (9-2) - Speedy sort has won two in a row and breaks from the rail. Much improved in his last three starts, he's moving up just a bit and should be involved every step.
