2nd pick: #12 (Fortnite Dance) (5-1) - Grey gelding has been on the sidelines since tiring badly while wide traveling a mile at this $30K tag here Jan. 13. . He had been competitive in all four starts prior to that, including a pair of dirt sprints and is a win candidate at a square price.
3rd pick: #6 (Samurai Jack) (5-1) - He finished third here sprinting for a $50K tag March 2 in a contest that was taken 'off the turf'. It was his first back from a nine-week break, a career best, and he must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #5 (John's Intuition) (6-1) - A NEW gelding, Cal-bred is dropping down in price while moving in with 'open' company. He just missed when debuting here Dec. 31, but has regressed in both starts since then. Capable of factoring, but he needs to step it up for anything more than a minor award.
