Premium Pick

Top pick: #6 (PULSION) - This race is one of the most wide-open on the entire card. Colt finished a strong second in the "Norfolk" (G1) on this surface one month ago and it's of note that it was his best race to date and came at this distance. In the hands of a trainer (Pat Biancone) that at one time specialized in big races, this son of "Include" will be a large price in a race where there almost are none without a solid chance.

2nd pick: #9 (Aikenite) - Lightly-raced son of "Yes It's True" is one of unlimited potential when viewing his three starts. Impressive maiden win sprinting on the Saratoga dirt and he then finished third in the "Hopeful" (G1) in his first vs. winners and he did so despite a terrible start that day. Colt finished a fast closing second at Keeneland in the "Breeder's Futurity" (G1) proving that he can go two-turns and also handle an artificial surface. Has a solid chance.

3rd pick: #1 (Alfred Nobel) - With the "Big Name" European in this race being "Radiohead" this son of "Danehill Dancer" comes into this off a pair of even efforts going seven furlongs, one each in England and Ireland. In the top barn of Aidan O'Brien he showed good tactical speed in a series of five starts when beginning his career. May do well at a big number.

4th pick: #4 (Noble's Promise) - Bargain-priced yearling ($10,000) has won three in a row including the last two on synthetic surfaces. Colt won a $100K stakes at Presque Isle and then upset the "Breeder's Futurity" (G1) at Keeneland. He's proven that he can handle a distance and also need not bring his track with him. Another longshot with a chance.
