He's racing third back from a seven-month layoff, and he should get a fast and/or contested pace to rally into. He has a solid shot if able to avoid any traffic from his inside post.
2nd pick: #5 (Nuke Laloosh) (7-2) - The probable favorite, he finished a strong 2nd here Oct. 15th in his third back from a 13-month layoff. No negative comments on him from me except his short price.
3rd pick: #10 (Papa de Gato) (12-1) - Very lightly raced, he hasn't run since breaking his maiden at Los Alamitos last December. Working fast and a threat if ready.
4th pick: #11 (Golden Atlantic) (8-1) - Another with early speed, he's dropping back down to a level he finished 2nd at Aug. 18th at Del Mar. Must avoid a wide trip today.
5th pick: #3 (Black Tie'n Tails) (4-1) - Lightly raced 4yo is running second back off a five-month break. He's dropping in class after a troubled 4th place finish in his return here Oct. 1st. Must be left in the mix.
