2nd pick: #5 (Blue Moonrise) (7-2) - The second of the Baffert trained pair, she tired after rushing up to press a quick pace when debuting here Dec. 30. A $500K daughter of 'Malibu Moon,' she bobbled at the start, and is a threat today with a trouble free getaway.
3rd pick: #4 (Chocolate Speights) (6-1) - This filly by "Speightstown' was a $475K yearling purchase back in Sept. of 2017. Working above average at Los Alamitos, she's in the barn of Jerry Hollendorfer (20% first out).
