2nd pick: #3 (Concord Jet) (2-1) - Speedy sort is dropping to a new low after tiring badly after setting a quick and pressured pace going a mile at Del Mar Nov. 23. He's worked fast twice since, cuts back in distance, and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Saddle Bar) (3-1) - Lightly raced gelding tired late after setting a fast and pressured pace going 5.5 furlongs facing a bit tougher Nov. 30 at Del Mar. It was his first race since Sept. 2, and he draws a fine outside post today while dipping to a new low in price.
4th pick: #6 (Hoss Cartwright) (6-1) - He's moving up back up in value after missing by a length sprinting at Los Al for an $8,000 price tag Dec. 14. Lightly raced 4yo has a speed/stalking style and may hold down a share at a square price.
